Ever since I had children, my weight has been a constant struggle. But when my daughter was diagnosed with cancer, my weight really began to spiral out of control. It only got worse when my daughter passed away, and I turned to food to help numb the unbearable pain I felt. Before I knew it, I was 250 lbs. After years spent perpetuating this vicious cycle, I was miserable and in constant physical and emotional pain. Then, in 2006, my back went out so badly that I couldn’t walk. I ended up in the hospital with my dignity crumpled in a ball on the floor. It was then that I decided I needed to take control of my life. While recovering during those first few days at home, I kept seeing Nutrisystem commercials and was amazed at how much weight these people had lost. I decided that I had to try it. I knew it was my last chance to make the change I so desperately needed. And with that, I began my new life.

Today, I am 115 lbs.* lighter and went from a size 22 to a size 4*! I am happy to report that thanks to Nutrisystem along with low impact exercise, my knee pain is completely gone, my back hardly ever gives me trouble anymore, and I have more energy now than I did when I was 20!
